Early Passion for Animals

My name is Dr. Ikponmwosa Nosa Ihenyen — a practicing medical doctor with a passion for growth, diversity, and a strong belief in Nigeria’s potential. From childhood, I loved animals deeply. I reared chickens and rabbits, not for business, but for the pure joy of caring for them.

Balancing Medicine & Passion

Even while studying to become a doctor, my love for animals never faded. Deep down, I always dreamed of becoming not just a doctor, but a committed agripreneur — one who contributes to food security and job creation in a meaningful way.

2022 — Turning the Dream into Action

By late 2022, I decided it was time to take the dream seriously. I began searching for land — determined to find an expanse that would allow for growth and expansion. The journey was challenging due to financial constraints, but with persistence and the support of family and friends, I finally acquired the land.

2023 — Laying the Foundation

The journey began with perimeter fencing, architectural planning, and construction. I pursued certifications in animal management and assembled a team of experienced men and women who shared the same vision of ethical, sustainable livestock farming.

2024 — Bringing the Dream to Life

By early 2024, we brought in our first set of animals and commenced operations. What started as a dream became a living, breathing reality — Wosa Ihenyen Farms was born. Since then, we have continued to grow, providing healthy, well-cared-for livestock to families and businesses who share our values.

Our mission is to keep expanding capacity — not only to supply across Nigeria but also to reach markets beyond. With dedication, innovation, and faith, our journey continues, driven by the dream to feed the nation and empower communities through agriculture.

Founder & CEO

A practicing medical doctor with a passion for growth, diversity, and a firm belief in the future of Nigeria. From childhood, he has loved animals — raising chickens and rabbits not for profit, but for the joy of caring for them.

While studying medicine, his dream of becoming not just a doctor but also an agripreneur never faded. In late 2022, driven by a commitment to food security and job creation, he acquired land and began building what would become Wosa Ihenyen Farms.

With hard work and support from family and friends, the farm was established in 2024 and has since grown steadily, delivering healthy, well-cared-for livestock to homes and businesses nationwide.
